    JOrdan,
    My son just started his sophmore yr and is failing already in 3 weeks. he refuses to do his homework and study. he laughs at me and tonoght he shoved me. He is lacking self esteem and it is getting worse. he cant get organized nor cares to. How do I help

    Hey Kathy, I wish that I could give you an answer that fixed everything, but I know that there isn’t one. This is a battle and journey with and for your son. First, thank you for wanting to help your son. Secondly, how are you helping now? Did these behaviors happen overnight or do you think it gradually evolved to this point? If it happened overnight, something might have happened with him such as abusing drugs, alcohol, sexual relationships, or bullying. Have you tried talking to him about those things lately to see how he is doing as a person?
