My troubled teen website, ResourceToLife.com, was shut down for a couple days about three days ago. If you tried to navigate to this website, I am so deeply sorry that we were down. It seems that through a third party software that powers our forum, there was a security hole. Meaning, we were very susceptible to threats from cyber attacks.
After much work and research, we were able to plug that hole and everything is safe and secure. It wasn’t a big threat. No hackers were able to place malicious code on the website. They did gain access to some files, but those files were completely wiped clean, and we are starting with a clean slate.
That my friends, is why the website was down, and why we haven’t been able to get around to sending you the Newsletter we promised you.
The assistance came from a developer over at Datawebpro, named Steve. He was very helpful and I recommend him to anybody. If you are looking for hosting or help, please look up his website. You can go to Datawebpro now.
So we personally want to thank you for your patience, and we are ready to bring some amazing things your way. Just stay tuned, and be sure to subscribe to our newsletter if you haven’t already.

I think the term “hacked” is better than “phished” in this case. Phishing usually refers to tricking someone into providing personal or banking information.
In any case, I’m glad you’re back up and running! And how great is it to find someone willing to give you hand like that, right?
Hey Brad,
I didn’t get into specifics in the blog for time’s sake. The hacker, actually did phish and was phishing for AOL.com user information by using my account to try and steal identity with emails. Thankfully, I use third party software for my emails, and no subscriber was effected with those AOL emails. Hopefully, the end users who received those emails weren’t effected as well.
I’m glad were up and running too, and it was incredible to find someone so helpful. He came recommended in another blog I follow, so I figured that I would at least ask him. Lo and behold…
Glad your here Brad!
